It was around the latter part of 2017, that I decided to take a leap of faith and apply to a college in America I knew God was leading me to. Despite only 1,000$ towards an almost 20,000$ tuition bill, I decided to obey God and begin the application process.
From then till up to this morning, it has been a fight. I have never encountered such a battle in my life. From a scholarship let down to car problems to house problems to unexpected bills, it was a fight. Every time I turned around, something went wrong or a new bill came up which required money to fix and handle.
Yet, I had to push! Through the obstacles, I saw God take the 1,000$ in my hand and began multiplying it. There were many nights I cried out to God because I didn’t see my way through. There were many nights I questioned this move I was about to make. There were many nights I browsed through the college’s website looking at the tuition bill.
Honestly, I became really discouraged due to deadlines and what I was up against, but God sent persons to encourage me and prophetically confirm what He has promised. I had to continue pushing myself to trust God even though I could not see my way through this. When persons asked where I was going, I told them I would be transferring in August, speaking in faith, knowing I was far way from the financial requirement.
Up to the last two days when the financial documents needed to be sent, I was still short couple thousand, but God stepped in and turned my not enough into more than enough, in unexpected ways. Today, I overcame the last hurdle, my student visa, which was approved through the favor of God.
Through many dangers, toils and snares I endured, I now stand as a testament, that my God is a way-maker, miracle-worker and promise-keeper! I stand as a testament, that if God said it, He will do it! It was not an easy road at all, but with Jesus, my parents, spiritual leaders, mentor, advisors, friends and family walking beside me, I got through this!
So, with great excitement, I am proud to announce that I will be joining the Valor Christian College Family, under the Leadership of Dr. Rod Parsley, this August. I bless God for every person who made this possible. Whether through finances or spoken word, I am forever grateful! I do request the prayers of the righteous as I make this transition! THE COUNTDOWN IS ON!
