GIVE ME SOULS LEST I DIE

This message is a wake-up call for believers to step up and take their spiritual responsibilities seriously. Instead of focusing on what we can get from God, we should be thinking about how we can share His love with others. It challenges us to ask ourselves—are we doing enough to help others find hope and avoid eternal separation from God? Time is running out, and now is the moment to take action and fulfill the mission we’ve been given.

A Call to Win Souls

Leonard Ravenhill penned “Give Me Souls Lest I Die!” in a powerful book called ‘Why Revival Tarries?’

Are we deeply concerned about the spiritual well-being of others?

Are we so satisfied and comfortable with those around us being lost in sin?

Shall they die and go to a Christless hell because we refuse to preach the Gospel?

Do we truly realize the urgency of the matter at hand?

Do we truly realize the short time we have left?

What are we doing?

Reflecting on Our Efforts

How many of us led someone to Christ or invited someone to church this week?

And there was silence.

We live in our fancy homes, own more vehicles than we need, and have television sets in every room, yet continuously fail to share Jesus with someone.

Misplaced Focus

We are so focused on what we can get from God, not what we can do for God.

We often equate God’s love for us with material gain, but His love was already shown on Calvary.

So, why should we keep His love and free gift of salvation to ourselves?

Are we going to allow our family members to walk the road of damnation, or will we continue to bombard God with our needs and wants?

What a more precious blessing it would be if all of our loved ones found Christ.

But what are we doing about it?

Have we no care for their soul?

We are more concerned about our earthly statuses than lost souls.

When was the last time we truly wept and travailed before God for souls?

The Great Commission

This soul-winning job is not just for the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Teacher, and Pastor.

It is all of our responsibilities as believers to fulfill the great commission, which is to:

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” – Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV)

and,

“…Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” – Luke 14:23 (KJV).

Letting Our Light Shine

Why are we hiding our light?

Why are we remaining silent about what God has done for us?

God did not snatch us out of hell’s hands just for us to sit like lumps on a log.

As Jude says, we are called to snatch someone else out of the fires of hell.

Last night, many people went to bed with great anticipation for today, but their voices are now silenced in death.

Many people like you and I were blessed to see another day, but many will not make it to tomorrow.

Tomorrow—even the next second—is not promised. Time is running out! Jesus is coming soon, and death shows no partiality.

A Renewed Hunger for Souls

It is time for us to have a greater desire for lost souls to be saved and changed by the power of Jesus Christ.

It is time for us to use every moment and every opportunity to be a witness to someone bound in sin.

We must go out of our way to see a lost soul come to Christ.

The prophet Isaiah was asked the question, “Who will go for me.” He responded, “Here I am, Lord, send me.”

The same question is being asked today. Will you be a willing vessel?

Lord, give us a Holy Boldness! Lord, give us a Holy Burden! Lord, give us souls lest we die!
