We are living in a time that repeats itself from Genesis 6. The days of Noah. The wickedness of man is great in the earth. Sin is at an all-time high, and many seem to have no care or concern about their ungodly deeds. God said in
Genesis 6:3 (KJV) – “…My spirit shall not always strive with man…”
God is being patient with His creation day in and day out. The stench of sin and wickedness continue to rise into His nostrils, yet He is still long-suffering. Thank you, Lord! However, God will not strive with us much longer. God will not always have His mercy to extend towards us much longer. In the days of Noah, God had enough and will have enough of this world’s sin. Isn’t that hard to believe when we have heard different things from so-called gospel preachers? Yes, GOD HAD ENOUGH! God was going to destroy the earth. Nothing was going to be left untouched. God had been calling for true repentance from the people, but their ears turned dull. They wanted to live life their way.
Nonetheless, God found grace in Noah and instructed Him to build an ark to save him, his family, and the animals. Noah acted right away. He gathered the materials and tools and began building as God instructed him. People passed by, mocking and scoffing at Noah, calling him crazy, but he continued building. Don’t we see that today? We have voices crying out in the wilderness proclaiming The Gospel truth, but many make a mockery and ignore it. They pay no mind to the message. They laugh and throw jeers. Oh, what a comedy show they see it as. Little do they know what we are trying to save them from.
Noah probably warned the people every day as he built. Every hammer to the nail screamed, “REPENT,” but no one listened. Regardless of the people’s carelessness, God was serious about what was coming. We see the same thing today. Many preachers preach repentance, but people continue to live their lives normally. They are careless with their one soul and have no vision of eternity. They continue like
Matthew 24:38 (KJV) tells, “For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark…”
Noah banged the last nail with the hammer one day, and the ark was finished. He began gathering the animals and his family into the ark as there was pending destruction. The rain started falling really hard, and the people began running to Noah’s ark. As they tried to enter, GOD SHUT THE DOOR. There was nothing more they could have said or done at that moment. They secured their destiny. There was nothing Noah could have done. The mercy of God ran out, and they were left to their own demise.
Saints of God, we are in the final hour of time. Jesus is coming soon to shut the door. God calls us into the ark of safety before it is too late. God is pleading with us to make it right while we have a chance. I know that we have heard this message time and time again. People are now questioning if God is really coming back. Can I share this scripture verse that answers your question?
2 Peter 3:9 (KJV) says, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
God has not returned because He is waiting for us to repent. He waits for us to turn to Him while we have a chance. The time of the end is at hand. The mercy of God is running out. Where will we find ourselves when God shuts the door? As we live each day, we work towards eternity, but where will we spend it? Are we working towards heaven or hell? It will be a sad day when those who were careless will realize it is too late. Why would we spend these mere years here on earth working towards destruction? These couple of years we are given on earth cannot be compared to the eternity that awaits us. This world is not our home. We are just pilgrims sojourning through this land.
God is calling for us to get serious about our soul salvation in this last day hour. God is calling for us to live a life that is pleasing unto Him while we are here on earth. We believers are called to spread this good Gospel message to the lost. We have a responsibility, and we must work while it is day. Night is coming. This is a dark world, but we must shine on for Jesus. We must get as many souls as possible into the ark of safety before God shuts the door.
If you are reading this and want to be in the ark of safety and the number of the saints, I want you to know that this grace that saved Noah and his family from destruction is available for you to receive today by accepting Jesus into your heart.
Say these words and mean it from the depths of your heart…
“Lord Jesus, I come to you a sinner. I realize I need a Savior, and only you can save me. Forgive me of my sins, and wash me in your blood. I welcome you into my heart. Fill me with your Holy Ghost, and I will serve you for the rest of my life. I will never be the same from this day onward. I am new. My past is gone. Today, everything changes. I am moving forward. I am now BORN AGAIN. I commit to following through to the end. In Jesus name, AMEN!”
Welcome to the family of God. I encourage you to live for God; He will keep you if you want to be kept. Don’t go back. His coming is too near. Your soul is secured. Let it be til He comes!
