We can see how far we have fallen and drawn back from God as we look around. We can see where our desires and love have turned to. Where we once went all out for God, we now camouflage with the world. Who would have ever thought we would be in this place in the world? Who would have ever thought that there would be a great divide on whether a life in the womb is valuable enough to live? Who would have ever thought that homosexuality and lesbianism would infiltrate our streets, media, schools, and churches? Who would have ever thought we would have a man calling himself a pastor leading a church with another man called “First Gentleman”? Who would have ever thought that there would be mass confusion on whether a born female is really a female or is a male trapped in a female’s body?
Saints of God, we are living in a dark and deceptive hour. If our forefathers and mothers were to experience the world we live in now, they would be sick to their stomachs. They could never imagine living in a time like we do now. Even in our pulpits across the world, there has been mass deception. Men and women of God who once spoke against sin are now quiet as lost souls continuously enter their churches with hell’s fire blazing under their feet. The devil has greatly intensified his schemes and deception, knowing his time is short. It amazes me how our forefathers and mothers warned us about this coming day, yet many fall prey to the adversary. 1 Timothy 4:1 (KJV) says,
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
How we see this unfolding right before our very eyes. So-called believers are walking away from what they know is truth and turning to other teachings and messages that will damn their souls. Many so-called believers are being seduced by the spirit of this age, a spirit of deception. Galatians 1:6-7 (KJV) says,
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
I also share the same sentiments as Paul, and I am amazed. Marveled at what we have become. Marveled at what is being preached by so-called pastors. Marveled at what so-called believers justify and make excuses for. Marveled at how nations founded on Godly principles are now being turned over into a harlot city. Marveled at how so-called believers are perverting the gospel of Christ to appease the masses. Marveled at how people would do anything for likes, shares, and social media followings. Marveled at how many have forsaken their cross for earthly riches, fame, and gain. Many are being deceived into believing another gospel, a perverted gospel. Many have found a “new way” when Jesus said He is the only way. If ever a time we needed to go back to the old way, it is now. The way of holiness, righteousness, and Godliness.
How did we, as believers, come to a place where we are justifying a man dressing as a woman in the name of “comedy”? When Deuteronomy 22:5 (KJV) says,
The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.
See, the devil has deceived many into thinking there is no harm in this “little” stuff. It is the “little” stuff that eventually spoils everything. Do we think that what we see today came upon us overnight? No, it started with the “little” stuff. We did not see anything wrong with it in the movies. We did not see anything wrong with it in the cartoons. Now, here we are, living in what was once fictional. We allowed the “little” stuff to take root in our world, and now we are seeing it bear the fruits of an untoward generation.
How did we, as believers, come to a place where we are justifying two men sleeping together and calling it “love”? You know what is love? 1 John 5:3 (KJV) says,
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments:
Love is doing the will of God. Love is giving the truth to your neighbor in sin. Love is speaking truth to your friend to save their soul. We cannot find love outside God or His word. Love outside of God is deception, and how many have fallen into it.
There are many who no longer want to hear SOUND DOCTRINE. Many who no longer want to hear the GOSPEL TRUTH. Many want preachers to lie to them with soothsaying words. Many are comfortable with going to hell’s fire. I have never seen a people more proud of willfully being rebellious against God and are delighted to have a VIP golden ticket to hell’s fire. 2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV) says,
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not…
Don’t we see that today? Many are blinded and do not want the truth to liberate them from sin’s grip. We thought the holiness preacher was too “rough.” We thought the Pentecostal preacher was preaching to people into “bondage.” Now, look at the world we are living in. We have a very much liberated world with no Godly morals or standards. Deception has blinded many eyes to the truth, and many would rather hear a perverted gospel than The Gospel of repentance.
Saints of God, God is looking for people who stand up for righteousness and holiness in this dark and deceived world. God is looking for a person who will shine the light of Christ regardless of how the world wants it to be hidden. God is looking for a people who will stand against sin, stand against the spirit of deception, and stand against the idols of this world. Though none go with us, we must still follow and preach the TRUTH! Souls hang in the balance!
Let us not give in to the darkness or deception but remain grounded in the truth of God. As Colossians 2:7 (KJV) says,
Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught…
