Hebrews 10:38-39 (KJV) says – “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.”
Living in the Last Days
We are living in the last and evil days. End-time prophetic words are unfolding before our eyes every day.
What we see happening in our world should not cause us to become comfortable but should strengthen our walk with the Lord.
The Great Falling Away
Many people are going back on the testimony they once shared with others.
Many are throwing in the towel on their relationship with God. Many are being deceived into compromise.
Many are no longer willing to accept the truth of God’s Word.
This faith walk has become too rough and tough for many, and they have allowed culture and popular opinion to shake their stance.
What they once stood for, they no longer care about.
What they once preached against, they are now indulging in.
What they once called truth has now become a matter of “personal conviction.”
It is becoming increasingly difficult to name the name of Christ and stand for God in this last hour.
As many are falling away, will we follow suit, or will we continue to stand and go all the way with God?
When we said “YES” to the Lord, it was supposed to be a vow never to be broken—a commitment to remain faithful until the very end.
Who Hindered You?
Galatians 5:7 (KJV) says, “Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?”
Many people ran this faith race well, but their walk was hindered.
They have allowed the popular crowd and the voice of culture to dictate their beliefs.
Saints of God, we are not led by the world—we are led by GOD’S WORD.
His Word will stand ultimately, not popular opinion or cultural trends.
When we die, we will not stand before Hollywood. We will stand before the Creator of the universe—our God and our King.
Just because something is popular does not mean it is righteous.
Just because it draws a crowd does not mean it carries His glory.
Faithful to the End
Saints of God, we are living in serious times, and if ever we needed people who would remain faithful to the end, it is now.
God is looking for the faithful ones—the ones who will not bend or bow to the world’s wicked ways, the ones who will not break under the pressures and persecutions of this world.
He is seeking those who will remain steadfast, unmovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58).
While many are turning back, we must make an inward determination that turning back will never be an option for us.
We have come too far to turn back now. We have done too much for God to turn back now.
Why would we allow the devil to take what belongs to us?
Turning back may seem like the better option, but it will not profit us when we stand before God.
We must never allow the enemy to lead us into a decision we will regret—a decision that will be too late to change.
We must hold fast to the profession of our faith without wavering (Hebrews 10:23).
We must continue to preach the Word of God in season and out of season—when people want to hear it, when they do not, when culture rejects it, and when the world persecutes it.
No Turning Back
We are the children of God, and nothing should be able to turn us away from Him.
As the song says, “I HAVE DECIDED TO FOLLOW JESUS”—no turning back, no turning back.
I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
No turning back, no turning back.
Tho’ none go with me, I still will follow,
Tho’ none go with me I still will follow,
Tho’ none go with me, I still will follow;
No turning back, no turning back.
My cross I’ll carry, till I see Jesus;
My cross I’ll carry till I see Jesus,
My cross I’ll carry till I see Jesus;
No turning back, No turning back.
The world behind me, the cross before me,
The world behind me, the cross before me;
The world behind me, the cross before me;
No turning back, no turning back.
