A HAND THAT HELD ME THROUGH THE STORM

Strong winds beating, ocean roaring, waves raging, fear is surrounding me. I have never ever experienced such a violent storm. I feel forsaken and isolated; where do I turn? I’m calling on Jesus. Can he hear me? I guess I’m all alone. Sinking in fear, I cried, “Master, Save me!” I closed my eyes hoping someone would rescue me. Suddenly, I felt a hand that brought me peace, no longer shall I fear. “Fear not I am with you” I heard, “I am always here!” Forsaken no more, I felt at ease because I am reminded of

Psalm 46:1, 3, 5 – God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge! God dwells in that city; it cannot be destroyed. From the very break of day, God will protect it. And Psalm 91:1-2, 4 NLT – Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

I know it could have only been Jesus’ hand that held me through the storm.
