Don’t Give Up!

The trials of life seem to weigh us down tremendously and sometimes we don’t really know how to handle it. We look to others to find solace instead of looking to Jesus, the one who knows and sees all things. We try to fix the situations on our own instead of placing it in the master’s hands.

We tend to cause ourselves discouragement when we try to do God’s job and realize how much we really suck at fixing situations only God can fix. Sometimes we feel as if God is taking way too long to fix our situations so we resort to other things that does more harm than good in the end. Our humanly powers cannot compare to the supernatural powers of God. So why don’t we just allow God to be God? Why don’t we allow God to work? Why don’t we just be patient and wait on Him?

The devil wants to make us believe that God is sleeping or hasn’t heard our prayers which is far from the truth. We serve a God who never slumbers nor sleeps and His ears are always inclined to the cries and prayers of the righteous. Let’s keep our heads up and focused on Jesus because things will get better.

“Stand still and know that He is God; 
and there’s no need to fight, 
the battle is not yours, 
the battle is the Lord’s”

It’s in those moments when we feel like giving up that we often find ourselves on the brink of a miracle!
